AMP Urban India Private Limited (AUIPL) was formed in 2011 after identifying the need for realistic real estate infrastructure solutions.
The real estate and infrastructure development company is a subsidiary of the Shanta Synergies group. The main focus is to build real estate and infrastructure projects using the latest and modern technology to provide cost-effective and timely solutions to the country’s growing needs.
Our Solutions
The real estate sector in India has a vital role in the Indian economy. It currently contributes 6% to 8% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). By 2030, it is expected to increase to up to 13%. The real estate industry will reach a $1 trillion value by 2030. Every state invests in real estate infrastructure for residential, commercial, industrial, and public space development.
The growing population and its needs are significant driving factors for improvements in the public sector infrastructure. The legislations restrictions and transparency issues impede the growth of this sector. AUIPL aims to bridge the gap between technology and real estate to bring actual reforms to the existing infrastructure. We are an organised group with experts in every field to work on new and old real estate projects. We strive to modernise every aspect of infrastructure so that it is easy for the public to gain access and for the government to improve efficiency.
Our first project was the redevelopment of Slum Market at Baisakhi. We worked under PPP for AMP Visaakkhi, working closely with Bidhannagar Municipality. The slum market was largely unorganised, and the space usage was ineffective. We took over the project and converted it into a profitable market and commercial enclave. Now that the infrastructure is modernised, the vendors can get their own space without competition, and the municipality can maintain the market without significant issues.
We also completed the reconstruction of Ramrikdas Haralalka Hospital, a famous government hospital. The Kolkata Municipal Corporation desperately needed to renovate and reconstruct the government hospital with a flailing infrastructure. We took the project into our hands to breathe new life into the hospital that was abandoned for 15 years. With our technology-powered solution, the hospital now stands tall with 60 beds for orthopaedic patients and a world-class diagnostic centre. Currently, the hospital is open 24 x 7 to provide the best diagnostic services and houses, postgraduate medical students, to shape the future of medicine in India.
What Do We Envision?
The Indian government is taking numerous initiatives to improve the real estate infrastructure. It is reforming legislative laws to include more companies working on real estate projects. AMP Urban India PL is ready to construct new buildings, upgrade old ones, and reconstruct dilapidated buildings to optimise space utilisation.
